A downloadable game for Windows
Have you ever put way too much thought into optimising your equipment buying in an RPG, even though you know it probably won't actually matter? I certainly have, and that's what made me come up with the idea of a game all about that. Hopefully you'll enjoy playing it as much as I did making it.
Clearing the game won't require going too crazy with the optimisation, but if you want to beat all the optional battles...
Made using RPG Maker VX ace and its many default assets.

Install instructions
Running the executable file creates a game folder, and you then run "game.exe" inside that to start the game. Both executables can be run through Wine or Proton if you're using Linux.
